ÖBB Bildungscampus St. Pölten - Knowledge transfer with commitment, expertise and environmental protection
Making a daily contribution to the environment, successful management, ecological compatibility as well as social responsibility are of particular importance to ÖBB. For this reason, the new location Bildungscampus St.Pölten with seminar hotel was awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for accommodation establishments UZ-200.
Not only the ÖBB passenger, but also the education campus participants and all employees of the Group make a significant contribution to climate protection. Since April 2022, the new ÖBB education campus in St. Pölten has been available to railway companies, infrastructure operators and interested parties.
Numerous educational opportunities on the subject of railways as well as railway-specific training and further education are offered. The educational campus also serves as a seminar hotel, where rooms and catering can be booked for individual events such as conferences and company retreats.
A total of 30 seminar rooms and 15 special training rooms with model and simulation facilities are available. The overnight accommodation wing of the ÖBB Bildungscampus has 240 single rooms with hotel-style furnishings and a large catering area including its own kitchen.
The building is barrier-free and the spacious open areas and relaxation oases are ideal for breaks for guests. A spacious catering area and attractive leisure facilities complete the offer and round off the overall concept.
If you would like to take a look at the whole building at your leisure, there is now a virtual tour of the Bildungscampus St.Pölten: Virtual tour - Education Campus(oebb.at)

Exemplary sustainability concept
Sustainable travel is an important criterion of the Ecolabel, so it is all the better that the ÖBB Education Campus is optimally accessible by public transport. It has its own train and bus stop and is only a few minutes away from St. Pölten's main railway station. In addition, the Education Campus also has parking spaces for bicycles and charging stations for e-cars and e-bikes.
In order to remain sustainable in all areas, the Bildungscampus works in a future-oriented manner and with the most modern building and seminar technology. In the main building as well as in its own workshops, the seminar rooms and the attached seminar hotel, ÖBB Infrassturktur AG relies on energy-efficient equipment that is powered by 100% green electricity. The building also has photovoltaic systems and can even produce honey thanks to the #ÖBBees on the roof!
