VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center is Austria’s largest congress and exhibition center, offering 73,000 m² of flexible event space for up to 29,000 people. Three separate entrances and a central mall provide maximum flexibility, enabling versatile room configurations and the hosting of parallel events. Its central location in Vienna, excellent accessibility, and proximity to hotels and the Prater make it an ideal event venue.

Sustainability is of utmost importance. This is supported through comprehensive consultation on sustainable event planning by an in-house sustainability manager and the option to obtain “Green Meeting” certification.

The experienced team at the VIECON Center supports its clients in both planning and the certification process. Events of all sizes—including large international congresses, conferences, meetings, and other gatherings—are organized more efficiently and environmentally friendly thanks to the team’s expertise. As a result, they can be certified as a “Green Meeting” or “Green Event” under the Austrian Ecolabel. A particular advantage in this process is that many of the required criteria are already met and implemented at the VIECON Center through its two existing Ecolabel certifications.
