As part of the PLUS Green Campus Initiative, a coordinator for green meetings was appointed by the Rector of the University of Salzburg in 2011. On the website www.uni-salzburg.at/greenmeeting there is a separate guide for green meetings and information on the certification of events at the University of Salzburg.
This information platform should encourage events such as congresses, symposia, seminars or workshops at the University of Salzburg to be organized according to ecological criteria.
