The sound of Europe - EU Ecolabel celebrates Europe Day 2026 in Vienna
The Austrian Ministry of Environment invited Delegations from all european participant countries to celebrate Europe Day together and make it a truly european experience.
EU Commissioner Magnus Brunner was keen to champion the EU Ecolabel on this day. Guests from across Europe emphasized the importance of sustainable standards in organizing major events like the Eurovision Song Contest as a Green Event and in sustainable film and television production according to the standards of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Producing. The importance of sustainable tourism for major events was highlighted by representatives of the event- and tourism industry participating in the celebration of Europe Day.
