The family and nature hotel Darrehof with its own riding and organic farm is located in the heart of the family destination Serfaus. Warm hospitality, a natural feel-good ambience and unforgettable vacation experiences, surrounded by the Tyrolean mountains, a feel-good atmosphere, family happiness and much more await you at the Darrehof.

Adelheid and Josef Greiter hosted their first vacation guests in the old farmhouse 100 years ago. Back then, guests still had to walk up from the valley to Serfaus and their luggage was delivered by ox cart - today, the world's smallest subway train commutes through the village! With pioneering spirit and passion, the first guesthouse has now become the family and nature hotel Darrehof. We have also been a certified organic hotel since 2024.

The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis vacation region is situated on a unique high plateau at 1400 m above sea level. In summer you can look forward to a wonderful natural landscape and a special kind of family play and hiking paradise. In winter, a great family ski area with slopes for connoisseurs and experts on over 200 kilometers of slopes.

Our rooms and vacation apartments with solid wood furniture and organic mountain hay upholstery, the cozy lounges with fireplace bar offer you a stylish feel-good ambience for relaxing vacations. The 300 m² wellness oasis with indoor pool and outdoor garden, children's playroom, children's playground and fitness studio provide relaxation, fun and adventure. On the ground floor there is a bike garage, a grocery store and a sports store. The riding and organic farm is surrounded by flowering meadows at the entrance to Serfaus.

As a family of mountain farmers, we have been working and living with and from nature throughout the year for generations. Careful use of natural resources and strengthening regional cycles are therefore our concern and obligation. This is demonstrated by our organic farming with many nature conservation measures as a contribution to biodiversity, a 200 KWP photovoltaic system; heat is generated using pellets and intelligent energy monitoring; local suppliers provide most of the food for our organic gourmet breakfast.

Ecological, economic and social sustainability are the cornerstones of our philosophy. We are not alone in this: we also warmly invite our valued guests to make an active contribution to our environment during their stay.

Hosts:

With Romana, Paul, Maria-Chryseldis and Mathias, the third and fourth generation of hosts now look after the well-being of their guests with passion and dedication. We are also nature-loving family people, we exchange ideas and learn with and from each other every day. We treat our guests honestly and authentically as people and hosts, always having an open ear and time for a chat. Our nature and the protection of the environment are particularly important to us. We want to create a space for you to enjoy wonderful vacation experiences and introduce you to the variety of vacation activities. Of course, our organic farm with Tyrolean Haflinger horses, donkeys, sheep, petting animals and especially our wide range of riding activities offer an unforgettable and unique vacation experience!

100% organic breakfast, the organic egg from the Becka farm in Nauders; milk, yoghurt and cheese from the Tyrolean organic cooperative Bio vom Berg; bacon, sausage from the Tyrolean organic butcher's Juffinger; organic beer from the Starkenberger brewery; organic wine from Burgenland; Sonnentor organic teas and organic coffee, Romana's organic herbal tea and of course organic apple juice and organic Spenling jam from our orchard.

Vacations

The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis vacation region is the most renowned family holiday destination in the Alps. Under the motto “We are Family”, the region offers a unique range of themed trails, adventure playgrounds, family adventure worlds and an extensive bike offer in summer. With the Super Summer Card, 11 lifts can be used inexpensively and unlimitedly. In winter, our guests can discover 38 lifts and over 200 kilometers of pistes. From beginner to advanced - there's a piste for everyone!
