For us, sustainability is a continuous journey of improvement, in which each and every one of us across all production areas, departments, and management levels makes the highest possible contribution. We are working to reduce the ecological footprint of our entire company and deliver our products and solutions with a net-zero CO2 content.
In collaboration with sustainability experts from Ramboll, Knauf Insulation conducted a study that shows it takes only 95 days after the installation of mineral wool insulation for the CO2 content of our mineral wool to be balanced out. From that point onwards, Knauf Insulation's mineral wool insulation solutions permanently reduce the operational CO2 emissions of buildings in Europe by 3.6 million tons every year. This corresponds to the CO2 emissions of approximately 2.5 million cars on European roads.
However, sustainability also means circular economy, and we are on a promising path with our recycling service, RESULATION. At the same time, we focus on sustainable, recyclable alternatives for our packaging.
Akustik-Dämmplatte TP 120 A
The sound-absorbing acoustic insulation panel TP 120 A, made of glass wool with ECOSE® Technology, is suitable for interior construction and specifically as a backing for perforated or slotted panels of acoustic ceilings covered with glass fleece or foil. The acoustic insulation panel is naturally non-combustible.
Akustik Board
The insulation board Akustik Board is ideal for thermal and sound insulation in interior construction. Thanks to the natural binder ECOSE® Technology, this insulation material is pleasant to handle. Furthermore, this insulation board is non-combustible, providing optimal fire protection.
Fassaden-Dämmplatte TP 432 B
The facade insulation board TP 432 B, made of glass wool with ECOSE® Technology and enhanced thermal insulation performance, is used for insulating ventilated facades as well as behind facing brickwork. One side is laminated with black glass fleece to achieve a neutral appearance, especially in transparent or translucent facade designs. The facade insulation board TP 432 B is also ideal for insulating double-skin masonry and steel cassette walls, offering excellent sound and fire protection.

The facade insulation board TP 432 B, made of glass wool with ECOSE® Technology and enhanced thermal insulation performance, is used for insulating ventilated facades as well as behind facing brickwork. The facade insulation board TP 432 B is also ideal for insulating double-leaf masonry and steel cassette walls, offering excellent sound and fire protection.

The naturally non-combustible insulation board Mineral Plus HB 034 with ECOSE® Technology has been developed for thermal and sound insulation in timber frame constructions with a 625 mm grid. This insulation board impresses with its very high thermal insulation performance and easy handling. It is flexible to work with and fits securely and compactly within the supporting structure. Leftover pieces can be easily incorporated during installation.

The naturally non-combustible insulation board Mineral Plus KP 034 with ECOSE® Technology stands out for its excellent thermal insulation performance and easy handling. Putzträgerplatte FKD-Light C2
FKD-Light C2 is a highly compressed, pressure-resistant rock mineral wool board with double-sided adhesive coating and very high thermal insulation performance. It is used for thermal, acoustic, and preventative fire protection in open diffusion external thermal insulation composite systems according to ÖNORM B 6400. Distribution is carried out through system providers of external thermal insulation composite systems.
Zwischensparren-Dämmrolle UNIFIT 032
The glass wool insulation roll UNIFIT 032 with ECOSE® Technology provides optimal thermal insulation as well as reliable sound and fire protection for roof construction and timber frame construction, thanks to its enhanced insulation performance. Excellent insulation values can be achieved even with low insulation thicknesses, which is a significant advantage, especially in renovation projects.
