From wood to brand

Admonter Holzindustrie AG was founded over 50 years ago and stands for stable structures and durable products made of natural wood.
In order to do justice to the more than 50-year success story of the Admont timber industry, it is necessary to go back almost a thousand years, to the foundation of the Benedictine monastery of Admont in 1074. Already at that time the monastery was endowed with large estates and is still the fourth largest forestry enterprise in Austria. So woodworking and processing has a centuries-old tradition in Admont. After the beginning of the industrial utilization of the wood, the first sawmill was built on the current site in the 1920s and in 1972 the time had finally come: STIA Holzindustrie, short for Stift Admont Holzindustrie, was founded. In October 2017, the company name and legal form were changed to Admonter Holzindustrie AG. The then 13 employees were initially engaged in the production of concrete formwork panels. But just like the staff, so did the product range. The panels were refined to natural wood panels for interior fittings and made of more and more types of wood. In addition, there has been a step-by-step specialization in today’s core product: high-quality country floorboards introduced under the name Admonter Naturboden and officially registered as the same brand in 1999. In addition to technical innovations such as the glue-free lock-it installation system and the natural thermal treatment on site, Admonter also set new standards in terms of design time and again. With the brand relaunch in 2014, Admonter took another important step towards the end customer and today offers complete solutions for interior fittings. In addition to the well-known natural wood floors and natural wood panels, stair solutions, wall coverings, interior doors and acoustic panels made of real wood are a fixed part of the product portfolio.
Admonter’s values of quality, Austrian origin, naturalness and, last but not least, exclusive design appeal to domestic and international customers and constantly open up new design possibilities.

Der ideale Boden fürs perfekte Wohngefühl. Egal welches Wohndesign auch bevorzugt wird, bei der Vielseitigkeit der Admonter Naturholzböden, ist bestimmt der passende Boden dabei. Variierende Breiten und Längen der Dielen sind bei FLOORs ebenso selbstverständlich wie die Auswahl verschiedener Holzarten und Verarbeitungen. Ein drei- bzw. zweischichtiger Aufbau verhindert das natürliche Verziehen des Holzes und sorgt für Beständigkeit, ein Leben lang.
