The Vienna Convention Bureau is a department of the Vienna Tourist Board and our job is to promote Vienna as Central Europe's leading conference city. Holding an event, be it a congress, conference, corporate meeting or incentive trip, calls for professional organisation and thorough planning. The Vienna Convention Bureau offers you knowledgeable and prompt support during this process, free of charge.

Green Meetings

In the last few years the topics sustainability and "greening" are gaining more and more in importance, especially in the Meetings Industry.

Congresses, seminars and events represent a strain on the environment, be it in the production of waste, the consumption of energy or the emission of CO2. To the Vienna Convention Bureau Green Meetings is not only a phrase. We strive to raise awareness for responsible and sustainable actions and support initiatives and projects taken in the field of Green Meetings, sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. As a licensee of the Austrian Eco-label "Green Meetings and Green Events" we are happy to support and assist you in organizing an eco-labelled green meeting according to the official criteria.
