The Vocational School of St. Veit an der Glan is a modern training institution currently providing education and training in 24 different professions, including fields such as information technology, laboratory technology, business administration, finance, real estate, media, and electrical engineering.
Training is offered in four pathways:
- traditional apprenticeship
- apprenticeship with the Austrian Matura
- apprenticeship after Matura
- integrative vocational training
In close cooperation with local companies, we ensure high-quality dual education and contribute to the development of skilled professionals in the region. Throughout the year, the school educates approximately 1,079 students in 71 classes, with an average of 18 classes and about 250 apprentices present at any given time.
Additional qualifications such as the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), Entrepreneurship Certificate, and exam preparation courses for final apprenticeship examinations are organized through the Education Centre St. Veit.
The school also operates a student dormitory, offering accommodation for up to 50 students throughout the school year.
Located in the central school campus of St. Veit, the institution provides an ideal setting for projects, cooperation, and public engagement. Its high visibility and accessibility allow for effective communication of environmental, educational, and international initiatives.
