Since its founding in 1986, the Robert-Jungk-Bibliothek für Zukunftsfragen (JBZ) in Salzburg has been dedicated to issues of sustainability and future studies. The library now holds 19,000 volumes, making it the largest specialized collection of future-related literature in Austria. The magazine pro zukunft regularly presents new publications, and studies describe future trends. JBZ is particularly known for its event series JBZ-Montagsrunden and Projekte des Wandels, serving as a platform for dialogue on the future. There are approximately 130 events each year.
