At Camira, we supply fabrics for the spaces that lay at the heart of people’s lives. The spaces we learn in, work in, recover in, relax in - and even the spaces in-between - the coaches, buses and trains that get us to where we need to be. That’s why we design, manufacture and make upholstery and panel fabrics that stand up to the most demanding environments, without ever compromising on colour, comfort or style.
With a commitment to pushing the boundaries of sustainable design, we have developed industry-leading textile innovations that deliver the aesthetics and durability our customers require – whilst always working towards achieving our ambition of a natural textile landscape. From Aztec, our fabric woven entirely from harvested nettles, to Oceanic, our first textile to include marine plastic waste, we place our vision for a sustainable future at the heart of everything we do.
Bringing the craft of precision engineering to fabric manufacturing, technical knitting illuminates a whole new world of potential - allowing the creation of fully finished fabric components, which are knitted as three-dimensional upholstery covers, as fabric mesh variants, or ShrinKnit fabric panels using innovative Shrinx technology.
