Salzer Papier ist der älteste, familiengeführte und führende Hersteller von hochwertigen, holzfreien Buchpapieren in Europa. Am Standort in St. Pölten Stattersdorf wird bereits seit 1579 Papier hergestellt. Am Ende des 18. Jhdt. (1798) kam die Fabrik in den Besitz der Familie Salzer, die sie noch heute führt.
