In order to reduce the ecological footprint of its productions, SATEL Film, one of the country's leading film production companies, relies on a voluntary commitment and recognised environmental labels. The measures implemented include avoiding domestic and international flights if the corresponding train journey takes less than five hours, using more electric or hybrid cars or energy-saving LED headlights, as well as conscious purchasing, green electricity and waste separation.
Our environmental performance

When her former assistant Daphne asks her for help, she becomes embroiled in a case that goes far beyond her new everyday life. The discovery of a dead wolf and the ensuing escalation between wolf opponents and supporters seem to be just the beginning of a profound conspiracy. When the chairman of the nature conservation organisation is murdered, Ira begins to investigate and discovers a web of intrigue and machinations that affects the entire region.
Der Metzger - Mordstheater
For once, Willibald Adrian Metzger leaves his old furniture in his restoration garage to see a stage play at the Graz Crime Theater together with his girlfriend Danjela, janitor and best friend Wollnar and his old schoolmate Senekowitsch who is police officer.
Danjela is the leading actress Emelie Fablé's biggest fan and is delighted when Metzger gets tickets to the premiere of the new play as part payment for his restoration job at the theater. To Danjela's great regret, however, Emelie is unable to attend the performance at short notice. And, as we learn a little later, not only for the premiere, she was murdered.
When the understudy and first prime suspect Olga dies shortly afterwards, it's not just the butcher who starts to wonder: is a theater-hating serial killer up to mischief?
But who? Did someone from the ensemble really want to make their way to the top, or was it perhaps the director Viktor Schinder who wanted to get the women out of the way? Or does the aristocratic theater patron Ludwig Degasperi have something to do with the murders?
While the police are groping in the dark and checking suspect after suspect, Willibald, Danjela and Wollnar repeatedly intervene in the investigation. And in the end, it is our butcher, of all people, who is able to solve the mystery.
Der Metzger traut sich
Together with Servus TV and with Simon Schwarz in the leading role, the latest (8th) volume of the famous book series by Thomas Raab is being adapted as the first film in the new DER METZGER feature film series.
Michael Podogil is directing Peter Koller's screenplay, which is based closely on the novel, and translating Raab's rapidity, authentic characters, wit and fine social criticism into film. In doing so, he lays the foundation for a crime series that centers on an atypical investigator: A restorer who stumbles into cases more than anything else.
Die Toten von Salzburg - Die letzte Reise
The body of tour guide is found in the salt mine of Hallein. The head and upper body are in Germany, the loins and legs in Austria. But this time neither Salzburg nor Traunstein want to take over the investigation. Mur wants to go on a winning cruise, Russmeyer is rehearsing for a musical role and Seywald is at a less-stress-in-two-weeks seminar with Rene to save the relationship. Then the former target tracker Ludovika (Lu) Frey takes up her duties and stirs up the investigations. The wife and the heavily pregnant partner of the victim, who knew nothing about each other, meet at the autopsy table.
Die Toten von Salzburg - Mord in bester Lage
Café Bazar is the venue for the monthly real estate get-together: Realtors and investors from Salzburg and Bavaria gather around Francis Zeferer, wunderkind tycoon and heir to the throne of FRAZE-Holding. Everyone wants to please him. Even Mr. Wolfgang is persuaded by Zeferer's enigmatic broker Noelle Imlauer to view an apartment. But when Mr. Wolfgang enters the empty apartment the next morning, he finds the estate agent dead. She has been shot.
Now it is up to district inspector Irene Russmeyer, her Bavarian colleague Hubert Mur and Hofrat Seywald to solve Noelle Imlauer's murder. Russmeyer and Mur follow the trail deep into the Salzburg real estate scene, which soon paints an ambivalent picture of the victim. Initially highly motivated to make as much profit as possible with her real estate deals, Noelle's attitude to the industry seems to have changed fundamentally. Noelle's former best friend Vanessa Pöttler comes into the spotlight as a suspect when it emerges that she has slipped into the real estate scene under a false name. Vanessa is convinced that her father's fatal accident on a building site a few years ago was actually a contract killing. And she already has the commissioner of the hit in her sights: real estate magnate Francis Zeferer.
Seywald fears that he has overlooked something in the case of Vanessa's father and takes on the matter.
Russmeyer and Mur receive information about Noelle Imlauer, which provides the investigators with a new motive: The supposedly loyal realtor wanted to double-cross Zeferer's FRAZE holding company. In the end, the question arises: Noelle Imlauer... from real estate shark to Robin Hood? Is that why she had to die?
Die Toten von Salzburg - Süßes Gift
A flurry of photographers' flashlights and TV camera in Salzburg's Hotel Menuett. Local entrepreneur Nussbaumer is to drive this forward with his new biogas plant. In the audience: Chief Inspector Mur, acting as undercover personal security for Wittmann, Hofrat Seywald, an old school friend of Nussbaumer, and his husband Rene. They are quickly called into action when Wittmann's chauffeur falls out of the limousine dead in front of everyone. Poisoned!
Murder out of jealousy? Or was Energy Minister Wittmann the real target? Irene Russmeyer of the Salzburg Criminal Investigation Department and the Bavarian Chief Inspector Mur are not at all in agreement. The clues lead them to an explosive opponent of private energy supply, to the Salzburg Marionette Theater and to an Azerbaijani gas prince named Gorkinski. A dangerous political conspiracy, intermingled with explosive private motives, becomes increasingly clear and demands everything from our investigators.
SOKO Donau - Staffel 20
"SOKO Donau│Wien" is a humorous, urban crime series that shows all facets of the pulsating metropolis of Vienna. Exciting and authentic in the story arc, the episodes tell of the realistic everyday life of a department of the criminal police. Since the second season of the series, the team has also been regularly investigating in federal provinces: in 2023, Lower Austria and Styria offer interesting, varied settings. The resulting contrast between the big city and rural areas is a special attraction of the series.
SOKO Donau - Staffel 21
Helmuth Nowak and his team have 13 exciting cases to solve again in 2025. A writer is murdered at the famous Südbahnhotel Semmering during a reading, where Max and Klaus are guests, Beck meets an old friend in the course of the murder of a director at the Reichenau Theatre, and Nowak asks an old acquaintance for help with a case at a day care centre for the elderly - much to Penny's delight, as it is none other than Colonel Dirnberger. There is also an unusual encounter with Chief Public Prosecutor Seiler, and we get to know him from a new, very personal side. A 9-year-old, precocious boy supports our investigators in a case, causing some unrest, and Penny wonders about women who throw all the achievements of feminism overboard as ‘tradwifes’. Julius can contribute his expertise in a case in the hydraulic engineering laboratory at BOKU Vienna and the criminal family “The Hödlmosers” seem to have resumed their ‘activities’ in Styria. Penny and Helmuth are highly alarmed.
