Drinking at the office and on the road - but without litter!

Sufficient drinking is essential for concentrated work and good performance. Frequent complaints in the office such as headaches, tiredness and lack of concentration are already the first signs of dehydration. To prevent this from happening in the first place, you should drink water regularly before you feel thirsty. It does not matter whether a glass or a bottle is on the table. For the sake of the environment, however, neither should be made of plastic. Disposable plastic bottles, in particular, cause a veritable flood of waste, which is a heavy burden on the environment. In Austria, 900,000 tonnes of plastic waste are generated annually. According to estimates of the Federal Environment Agency, this figure will rise to one million tonnes by 2021.

Drinking from glass

If you prefer to drink from a glass, you should have a bottle ready to refill so that you don't have to get up every time.Otherwise the glass will often remain empty. Drinking bottles such as Emil – „Bio-Stern“ bottle, the CONUSMENT Test winner in 4/2020, is ideal. It looks good on the desk and yet holds considerably more liquid than a drinking glass. Sustainable drinking bottles such as the Emil bottles are made of glass and are therefore free of pollutants, 100 percent recyclable and neutral in taste. They can also be hygienically cleaned and refilled again and again. So if you prefer fruit juice, you can be sure that the orange juice taste of the previous day is not in the bottle - even if you drink clear water from time to time.

Sustainable on the road

A glass bottle (test results KONSUMENT) is also wonderfully suitable for employees who do not spend all their working time at their desk, but are frequently on the road for appointments. Some drinking bottles are protected by a stable and completely recyclable thermo-cup. If the bag gets too tight or the bottle slips out of your hand, the glass is protected from breaking. So you always have something to drink with you when you're on the go, without having to worry about additional waste. Another protection is a washable bottle bag made of organic cotton (originally GOTS certified) or Oeko-Tex certified fabric. This can be removed, washed or exchanged for a new design at any time.

Companies that want to give their employees, business partners or customers a great gift can also use bottles as a sustainable advertising medium.
