Conditions of participation for the competition on www.umweltzeichen.at

  1. All Austrian citizens as well as persons with a right of residence in Austria who have reached the age of 14 years at the time of entry are eligible to participate in the competition. The Austrian Ecolabel team is excluded from participation in the competition.
  2. To participate in the competition, the correct answer to the winning question on the Austrian Ecolabel website (www.umweltzeichen.at) is required.
  3. The winners will be drawn from all e-mail registrations received by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action during the term of the competition.
  4. The drawing of the winners takes place in camera and without the presence of a notary. Multiple participation of one person with separate e-mail registration is permitted. Only one prize can be issued per person.
  5. By entering the competition, the participant confirms that the data requested is correct, truthful and complete. Furthermore, the sender automatically accepts these conditions of participation, which are published on the website of the Austrian Ecolabel (www.umweltzeichen.at).
  6. The winners will be notified by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action by e-mail to the e-mail address given in the registration e-mail and asked to provide the postal address for delivery of the respective prize. This notification must be made by e-mail. The non-cash prizes will subsequently be sent to the winners free of charge. If no response is received to the e-mail notification to the winner within 4 calendar weeks from the date of dispatch of the notification, the claim to the prize shall lapse without further notification.
  7. Participation is free of charge, voluntary and does not entail any obligations of the winners towards the Federal Ministry of Climate Action. The data will be recorded electronically to determine the prizes.
  8. Prizes in kind cannot be redeemed in cash. There is no legal claim to a prize.
  9. Legal recourse is excluded.
  10. The Federal Ministry of Climate Action does not assume any liability for technical problems which impair the smooth running of the game, impede participation in the competition or even make it impossible.
  11. The Austrian Federal Ministry of Climate Action expressly reserves the right to subsequently amend the rules of the game as well as to make changes with regard to non-cash prizes and entry deadlines for participation in the competition.
